Tunku Varadaraja, International Editor of Newsweek gives his thoughts on President Obama’s energy plan believing that the US’s dependence on foreign energy is best taken care of by the market rather than intervention and regulation from Washington. He argues that an effective American energy plan needs to strike the right balance between sensible market energy policies and environmental concerns that arise in the minds of American people.
